Additional Site Costs

Web sites have a variety of costs to develop and maintain. These are some of the typical costs that arise.

Hosting & Email Set Up

We resell & manage hosting services of some of the highest rated hosts available: Datapipe, DiscountASP and MaximumASP.  They offer Windows hosting that includes the outstanding access, 24/7 service, multiple email addresses, site statistics, as well as other features.  The plan costs $24/mo. or $240 annually for the space and traffic anticipated.  Set up is for no additional charge.

Content Management System

The cost for using our content management system is $15/month or $150/yr.

Domain Name Registration/Transfer

Domain name registration costs between $5 and $35 annually, and we can register, transfer and/or change nameservers to allow your domain to point to the correct place for your website and email.  In order to do any transfer, we need the login information for your registrar (Network Solutions, GoDaddy, etc.)

Site Maintenance and Updates

Should you require additional support, maintenance, or site changes after the project is complete, we bill at $75/hour for additions or changes of any kind ($90/hr for sites not hosted with us), which is a blended rate for simple HTML, graphics, dynamic page development and database work. 

Third Party Tools

Should you be using a 3rd party system such as a newsletter mailing service and/or a shopping cart, you will have to pay for these services directly.

Special Purchases

Should you wish to use special fonts or purchased graphics on your site, you will be charged for these at cost.
